BSR’s associates provide the specialized focus needed to assist railroads and users of railroads in solving transportation issues ranging from the storage of products and fleets to the trans-loading of commodities. TRANSLOADING

Big Spring Rail System, Inc. offers inbound and outbound loading services, with tracks available for trans-loading from rail to truck. BSRS also designs and develops trans-load networks and start-up of trans-load operations.

We provide rail to bulk container loading, warehouse storage, outside storage, drayage, and oversized flat rack loading to and from rail to truck. We also have all classes of rail served warehouses, in addition to outside storage options, heavy lift capabilities and break-bulk loading.

Big Spring Rail System, Inc. has the available locations and optimization expertise to establish your terminal, distribution and warehousing sites.

Terminals for servicing the Gas/Oil industry including pipe, sand, proppant, cement, drilling collars & fluids
Oil loading terminals- presently capable of handling manifest quantities with the ability to develop unit train operations

BSR is a linehaul railroad, meaning that we are not a switching or handling carrier for Union Pacific, but an entirely separate railroad for billing purposes. Prospective shippers should contact BSR's headquarters in West Chester PA or David Lee to discuss the creation of new linehaul rates, either "through rates" that include all inehaul carriers in one invoice, or "Rule 11 rates" that cover just BSR's portion of a movement.
